Michele has an extensive background in entrepreneurship, non-profit work, and community initiatives, bringing valuable skills and insights to her role. Formerly the Managing Director and Co-Founder of a successful IT security company, in recent years Michele has shifted her focus toward impactful, community-driven work. At New Era, she dedicates her time, energy, and expertise to developing and leading all our projects. Her leadership and dedication are central to New Era’s mission and growth in the community.
Lesley Griffith
Director and Head of Administration
Lesley’s background in HR, compliance, and event organisation equips her with a range of skills which play a vital role in supporting the development and expansion of New Era. Lesley manages the day-to-day planning and administration of the organisation, essential to the charity’s continued growth and success.
Kylie Harrod-Eagles
Director and Head of Operations
Kylie’s extensive experience working in Sales Operations roles within large, global technology companies brings to New Era a fresh perspective on how to operationalise processes for simplicity, efficiency and scale. Kylie is focused on implementing technology and processes across our projects, alongside identifying ways businesses in our community can be involved in supporting New Era’s mission.
Paul Cockle
New Era Founder
Paul originally founded New Era in 2021, having been part of the local community of Chessington for some 25 years. He is a passionate supporter of fostering community spirit, and inspiring others to embrace sustainability and reduce waste for a healthier planet for our children and grandchildren. Having moved out of the area in 2023 to Kent, Paul has stepped back from the day-to-day management of New Era; now dedicating his time to supporting and championing community initiatives in his new hometown of Headcorn. Paul has played a pivotal role in the birth of New Era, and he remains an honorary member of the core team.
